Taxonomy
Eccyliomphalus tangshanensis was named by Grabau (1922). It is not extant. Its type locality is Shan MaJiaGou Fm., KaiPin Co., HeBei Prov., China, which is in a Darriwilian shallow subtidal lime mudstone/limestone in the Shan Majiagou Formation of China.
