It was recombined as Straparollus planidorsatus by Meek and Worthen (1866), Keyes (1894) and Snider (1915); it was corrected as Euomphalus planidorsatus by Girty (1915) and Girty (1915); it was recombined as Straparollus (Euomphalus) planidorsatus by Thein and Nitecki (1974).
