Taxonomy
Euphemites fremontensis was named by Kulas and Batten (1997). It is not extant. Its type locality is AMNH B6821, Bull Lake, Fremont County, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine lime mudstone/grainstone in the Park City Formation of Wyoming.
