Taxonomy
Euphemites multiliratus was named by Sturgeon (1964). It is not extant. Its type locality is Cs-7. Abandoned Bossart mine ("Buzzard's Glory"), which is in a Desmoinesian carbonate limestone in the Allegheny Formation of Ohio.
