Taxonomy
Murchisonia (Goniospira) gracillima was named by Perner (1907) [Murchisonia (Goniospira?) gracillima Barrande in Perner 1907]. It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Vyskocilka, which is in a Gorstian marine horizon in the Kopanina Formation of the Czech Republic.
