Sinuopea sweeti

Taxonomy
Holopea sweeti was named by Whitfield (1882). It is not extant. Its type locality is Walcott Locality 78. Quarry near St. Croix Friver, suburbs of Osceola, which is in a Trempealeauan marine sandstone in the Jordan Sandstone Formation of Wisconsin. It is the type species of Sinuopea.

It was recombined as Sinuopea sweeti by Ulrich (1911), Ulrich et al. (1931), Knight et al. (1960) and Wagner (2023).
