Diadeloplax was named by Hoare and Mapes (1995) [Sepkoski's age data: C Bash Sepkoski's reference number: 1224]. It is not extant.

It was assigned to Strobilepidae by Hoare and Mapes (2000); and to Strobilepida by Sepkoski (2002).
