Loxonema derelictum was named by Perner (1903) [Loxonema? derelictum Barrande in Perner 1903]. It is not extant. Its type locality is Hlubočepy, suburb south of Prague, which is in a Givetian carbonate limestone in the Srbosko Formation of the Czech Republic.
