Taxonomy
Loxonema pollens was named by Perner (1903) [Barrande in Perner 1903]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vyskocilka, which is in a Gorstian marine horizon in the Kopanina Formation of the Czech Republic.
It was recombined as Stylonema pollens by Frýda and Bandel (1997).
