Macroscenella superba

Taxonomy
Metoptoma superba was named by Billings (1865). It is not a trace fossil. It is the type species of Macroscenella.

It was recombined as Scenella superba by Ulrich and Scofield (1897); it was recombined as Macroscenella superba by Wilson (1951), Yochelson (1994) and Wagner (2023).
