Taxonomy
Modestospira poulseni was named by Yochelson (1964). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Store Duegaard, near Tjørneby, which is in a Hunderum carbonate limestone in the Komstad Formation of Denmark. It is the type species of Modestospira.
