Naticopsis (Naticopsis) convoluta was named by Heidelberger (2001) [?Naticopsis (Naticopsis) convoluta Heidelberger 2001]. It is not extant. Its type locality is Gastropods of the Lahn Basin Limestones: Arfurt, which is in a Givetian marine limestone/reef rocks in Germany.
