Nylanderina goldringae
Taxonomy
Nylanderina goldringae was named by Boucot et al. (1967) [Boucot in]. Its type specimen is USNM 125303, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is USGS 2713. First dam on Misery Stream above Brassau Lake, which is in a Siegen marine sandstone in the Tomhegan Formation of Maine. It is the type species of Tritonophon, Nylanderina.
It was recombined as Tritonophon goldringae by Peel (1974).
