Taxonomy
Palaeozygopleura canningensis was named by Cook et al. (2003). It is not extant. Its type locality is WAPET 53, Frasnian, Canning Basin, Western Australia, which is in a Frasnian marine limestone in the Sadler Limestone Formation of Australia.
