Platyceras gracile was named by Koken (1897). It is not extant. It is the type species of Pervertina.
It was recombined as Pervertina gracilis by Horný (1964); it was recombined as Antispira gracilis by Fryda and Rohr (1999); it was recombined as Laeogyra gracilis by Koken and Perner (1925), Wängberg-Eriksson (1979), Frisk and Ebbestad (2007) and Wagner (2023).
