Taxonomy
Pleurotomaria genundewa was named by Clarke (1904). It is not extant. Its type locality is Genundewa Point, loc. 23b, which is in a Frasnian marine limestone/shale in the Genundewa Formation of New York.

It was recombined as Glyptotomaria genundewa by Wagner (2023).
