Taxonomy
Proplina inflatus was named by Stinchcomb (1986). It is not extant. Its type locality is Locality V. bluff along West Frok of Black River, which is in a Trempealeauan reef, buildup or bioherm dolomite in the Potosi Formation of Missouri.
