Taxonomy
Proplina rutfordi was named by Webers et al. (1992). It is not extant. Its type locality is Feather Edge on NE side of Springer Peak, Heritage Range, which is in a Dresbachian perireef or subreef limestone in the Minaret Formation of Antarctica.
