Taxonomy
Pseudomphalotrochus bonapartensis was named by Cook (1998). It is not extant. Its type locality is QML 1037 - 400 m NE of Westwood Creek, Cape Dommett, which is in a Frasnian marine limestone/sandstone in the Hargreaves Formation of Australia.
