Pseudozygopleura (Pseudozygopleura) angustata was named by Hoare and Sturgeon (1985). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Pseudozygopleura angusta by Kues and Batten (2001); it was recombined as Pseudozygopleura angustata by Wagner (2023).
