Retispira fragilis

Taxonomy
Knightites (Retispira) fragilis was named by Yochelson (1960). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is PU3, Apache Canyon, Sierra Diablo, which is in a Kungurian shallow subtidal limestone in the Bone Spring Formation of Texas.

It was recombined as Retispira fragilis by Kulas and Batten (1997) and Wagner (2023).
