Schizolopha textilis
Taxonomy
Schizolopha textilis was named by Ulrich and Scofield (1897) [Ulrich in Ulrich & Scofield 1897]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ulrich & Scofield Nashville Locality, which is in a Shermanian carbonate limestone in the Bigby-Cannon Formation of Tennessee. It is the type species of Schizolopha.
It was recombined as Lophospira textilis by Knight et al. (1960).
