Taxonomy
Spinulrichospira cheeneetnukensis was named by Blodgett and Rohr (1989). It is not extant. Its type locality is USGS 10063-SD. 3 m. thick silicified bed 82 m. below top of formation., which is in an Eifelian carbonate dolomite in the Cheeneetnuk Formation of Alaska.
