Spiroecus girvanensis

Taxonomy
Stephanocosmia (Spiroecus) girvanensis was named by Longstaff (1924). It is not extant. Its type locality is Locality 4. Shalloch Mill, Whitehouse Bay, Girvan, which is in a Pusgillian carbonate limestone in the Mill Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Stephanocosmia (Spiroecus).

It was recombined as Spiroecus girvanensis by Wagner (1999), Frýda (2000) and Wagner (2023).
