R. L. Batten 1995Slender, high-spired orthostrophic shells. Early whorls heterostrophic with varying degrees of axial tilt, are more loosely coiled. Adult whorl profile evenly inflated to slightly angulate with midwhorl periphery. Growth lines form v-shaped, broad sinus culminating at periphery. Sutures sharp and deep. Base rounded and whorls embrace on base. Aperture ovate with slight siphonal notch.
