Taxonomy
Loxonema (Stylonema) solitarium was named by Perner (1907). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lochkov, which is in a Pridoli carbonate limestone in the Pozáry Formation of the Czech Republic.
It was recombined as Stylonema solitarium by Frýda and Bandel (1997) and Wagner (2023).
