- Anabaritidae

Anabarites was named by Voronova and Missarzhevsky (1969) [Missarzhevsky in Voronova & Missarzhevsky 1969. Commonly given as Missarzhevsky in Rozanov et al. 1969 182 - 183, but this seems to be erroneous; Originally a nomen nudum from Missarzhevsky 1967 p. 20 Sepkoski's age data: ]. Its type is Anabarites trisulcatus.

It was synonymized subjectively with Tiksitheca by Landing (1988).

It was assigned to Hyolitha by Azmi and Pancholi (1983); to Trilobozoa by Sepkoski (2002); and to Anabaritidae by Kiessling (2003) and Kouchinsky et al. (2009).
