Saltosauropus latus
Taxonomy
Saltosauropus latus was named by Bernier et al. (1984). Its type specimen is Université Claude Bernard 400,002 and is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Cerin Quarry, locality 5, bed 295, which is in a Kimmeridgian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in France.
