Tiktaalik roseae
Taxonomy
Tiktaalik roseae was named by Daeschler et al. (2006) [NUFV = Nunavut Fossil Vertebrate Collection]. It is not extant. Its type specimen is NUFV 108. Its type locality is Bird Fiord, which is in a Frasnian fluvial sandstone/siltstone in the Fram Formation of Canada.
