Baiosoma batilia
Taxonomy
Hippocardia batilia was named by Hoare et al. (1982). It is not extant. Its type locality is East-west trending gullies on the east side of an unnamed tributary of Sycamore Creek on the Daube Ranch, which is in a Morrowan carbonate limestone in the Golf Course Formation of Oklahoma. It is the type species of Exalloschema.
It was corrected as Hippocardia batilla by Hoare et al. (1988); it was recombined as Exalloschema batilia by Hoare et al. (2002); it was recombined as Baiosoma batilia by Rogalla and Amler (2006) and Wagner (2023).
