Taxonomy
Seelya emanuelensis was named by Yu (1993). It is not extant. Its type locality is Canning Basin, 20 kilometers southeast of Fitzroy Crossing, which is in an Arenig carbonate limestone in the Emanuel Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Plethospira emanuelensis by Wagner (2023).
