Taxonomy
Bigalea tercierae was named by Johnston and Chatterton (1983). It is not extant. It is the type species of Redstonia.

It was recombined as Redstonia tercierae by Caldwell and Chatterton (1995), Rogalla and Amler (2006) and Wagner (2023).
