Pojetaconcha townleyi
Taxonomy
Bransonia townleyi was named by Pojeta and Gilbert-Tomlinson (1977). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Locality 75. Shale at Zeehan Smelters Quarry, Zeehan, which is in an Eastonian transition zone/lower shoreface shale in the Gordon Limestone Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Pojetaconcha townleyi by Waterhouse (1987) and Wagner (2023).
