Retispira retifera

Taxonomy
Bucanopsis retifera was named by Talent (1963). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Loc. 74. Warrigal Bend, Mitchell River National Park, which is in a Pragian marine siltstone/claystone in the Tabberabbera Formation of Australia.

It was recombined as Retispira retifera by Rollins et al. (1971), Tassell (1982), Kase and Nishida (1986), Cook et al. (2003) and Wagner (2023).
