Bulimorpha elongata

Taxonomy
Bulimella elongata was named by Hall (1858). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Spergen Hill, near railroad station at Harristown, southeast of Salem, which is in a Meramecian carbonate limestone in the Salem Formation of Indiana.

It was recombined as Bulimorpha elongata by Thein and Nitecki (1974) and Wagner (2023).
