Carinaropsis victoriae was named by Chapman (1916). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Patellilabia (Phragmosphaera) victoriae by Rollins et al. (1971); it was recombined as Phragmosphaera victoriae by Wagner (2023).
