Taxonomy
Conradella fimbriata was named by Ulrich and Scofield (1897). It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Phragmolites fimbriatus by Bradley (1930) and Wilson (1951); it was recombined as Phragmolites fimbriata by Wagner (2023).
