Cyclonema hamiltoniae was named by Hall (1860). It is not extant.

It was recombined as Sphaerodoma hamiltoniae by Grabau and Shimer (1909); it was recombined as Gyronema hamiltoniae by Linsley (1994); it was recombined as Kitikamispira hamiltoniae by Wagner (2023).
