Taxonomy
Subulites (Cyrtospira) inflata was named by Koken and Perner (1925) [Koken in Koken & Perner 1925]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rakvere, which is in a Rakvere carbonate limestone in the Rägavere Formation of Estonia.

It was recombined as Subulites inflata by Vostokova (1955).
