Epiptychia duslii was named by Perner (1907) [Epiptychia Duslii]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jinovice near Prague, which is in a Rhuddanian marine horizon in the Litenschichten Formation of the Czech Republic.
It was recombined as Prosolarium duslii by Wagner (2023).
