Eunema prisca was named by Billings (1859). It is not a trace fossil.
It was recombined as Solenospira prisca by Ulrich and Scofield (1897); it was recombined as Eotomaria prisca by Sloan and Webers (1987); it was recombined as Ectomaria prisca by Wilson (1951), Rohr (1980), Wagner (1999) and Wagner (2023).
