Lophonema circumlirata

Taxonomy
Euomphalus circumliratus was named by Whitfield (1886). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is 227 - Promonotory on west end of Fort Cassin, Lake Champlain., which is in a Cassinian carbonate limestone in the Fort Cassin Formation of Vermont.

It was recombined as Lophonema circumlirata by Wagner (2023).
