Taxonomy
Murchisonia (Fusispira) obelisca was named by Whitfield (1886) [Murchisonia (Fusispira?) obelisca]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 227 - Promonotory on west end of Fort Cassin, Lake Champlain., which is in a Cassinian carbonate limestone in the Fort Cassin Formation of Vermont.

It was recombined as Eroicaspira obelisca by Wagner (2023).
