Taxonomy
Littorina ussheri was named by Whidborne (1891). It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Turbonitella ussheri by Beyer (1896), Perner (1903), Perner (1907), Paeckelmann (1922), Dahmer (1926), Heidelberger (2001) and Wagner (2023).
