Loxonema anglica was named by d'Orbigny (1850). It is not a trace fossil.
It was corrected as Loxonema anglicum by Whidborne (1892) and Whidborne (1896); it was recombined as Palaeozygopleura anglica by Amler and Heidelberger (2003); it was recombined as Australoxa anglica by Wagner (2023).
