Taxonomy
Maclurea comes was named by Perner (1903) [Maclurea? comes Barrande in Perner 1903]. It is not extant. Its type locality is Lejskov (= Leiskov) near Malkov, which is in a Berounian carbonate limestone in the Králuv Dvur Formation of the Czech Republic.

It was recombined as Maclurina comes by Wagner (2023).
