Strobeus welleri

Taxonomy
Soleniscus (Macrochilina) welleri was named by Knight (1931). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is SL-1. Headwaters of Feefee Creek, north of Olive St. & west of Lindberg Blvd., 1.5 km northwest of Stratmann (Olivette), which is in a Moscovian offshore shale in the Appanoose Formation of Missouri.

It was recombined as Soleniscus welleri by Delpey (1942) and Yochelson and Saunders (1967); it was recombined as Strobeus welleri by Kues and Batten (2001), Quiroz-Barroso et al. (2012) and Wagner (2023).
