Euomphalus (Morphotropis) lituites was named by Spitz (1907). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Straparollus (Serpulospira) lituites by Jhaveri (1969) and Blodgett and Johnson (1992); it was recombined as Serpulospira lituites by Wagner (2023).
