Mourlonia perryi was named by Rohr (1980) [Mourlonia? perryi Rohr 1980]. It is not extant. Its type locality is USNM 18123. cl. 1. Lover's Leap, which is in a Caradoc carbonate conglomerate/limestone in the Kangaroo Creek Formation of California.
It was recombined as Eotomaria perryi by Wagner (2023).
