Taxonomy
Orthonychia extenuata was named by Perner (1903) [Barrande in Perner 1903]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dêd Hill near Beroun (formerly Drabov), which is in a Berounian/Harnagian marine shale in the Letna Formation of Czechia.
It was recombined as Barrandicellopsis extenuata by Horný (2000), Wagner (2023).
